Arezzo?? do hotels exist?

I'm struggling with the last night of my trip in Dec/January. Will be in Florence for 3 nights, San Quirco d'Orcia 2 nights and then need a hotel near Arezzo for one night on our way back to hotel in Florence. Any suggestions? Was thinking Relais Belpoggio but think it may be too far from restaurants, etc. Thank you.

You might want to look at the following in the centro area of Arezzo:

4 star:
www.cavalierehotels.com/arezzo

Hotel Minerva - need to google for the website

3 star:
www.hotelcontinentale.com

I haven't stayed at any of these, but did notice a lack of accommodations while visiting the town last year.

I stayed one night at the Casa Volpi in June last year. It's slightly outside the centre - maybe about a 20 minute walk ? It's an old villa and has nice grounds. Our room was quite rustic and charming. We just stayed & ate in, since we'd only flown in that afternoon & driven from Rome. The food & wine was good & we ate outside but you won't be doing that in Dec/Jan. The website is www.casavolpi.it. I either booked via e-mail or via venere.com - not sure which now.

Lorraine - Yellow Pages lists 5 pages of hotels/B&B's in Arezzo.

Here's the link:

Hope this helps ...
