Aren't there any inexpensive (<90 Euro) Parisian hotels?

Stayed at the Hotel Port Royal two years ago. It is a budget hotel. I do not think that we had the best room but it was clean and had a toilet/shower. We found the location quite good. Near Gobelins Metro station and a nice walk through the Latin Quarter to Notre Dame. Great internet spot around the corner. They asked for cash and we mailed a one night deposit to hold the room. If you want to see the exterior/area of an address in Paris try www.pagejaunes.fr. Type in the address or do a search by area.

I agree with Underhill: I looked for a place in this huge city and I stayed with my boyfriend at Devillas last month: it was just perfect for a couple looking for a nice and charming place in Paris!
NB/ they make good deal for a WE stay (ask for it!!)
I just love the 5th: visit the area (by walk) you're gonna love it! - Don't forget the Botanic Garden !
Just check the site: www.hoteldevillas.com

On www.pagesjaunes.fr, there is a link to English...
but what you do is type "hotel" in the 'Activite' box, "royal" in the 'Nom' box, and "paris" in the 'localite' box. Click on orange 'Rechercher' (search) button.
You should see Hotels with the name 'Royal' - scroll down to the Port Royal listing. Click on 'Photo' link - a new window will pop up with photo of the hotel exterior. Use the 'left' or 'right' arrows to go up/down the block building by building. Use the 'across' arrow to jump to other side of the block.
Give it a try!
