Are you familiar with SN Brussels Airline?
In checking out flights from the United States to France, I came across this airline and wondered if you might know of it and what you think about it.
Thanks in advance for your responses. Diedre |
Never flown it, but seriously considered it London to Brussels. It is a national airlines, seems very reputable, I believe one can earn miles with an American airline (maybe United?). I would not feel uncomfortable about this airline. There is a website I saw on posts yesterday where passengers rate airlines. I'm not sure what it is, but if you do a little hunting on this forum you will find it, or another poster will probably mention this information.
Good luck. |
Thanks, JoeTro,
Much appreciated. Diedre |
SN Brussels do not fly to the US. SN8001-8004 are codeshares on AA.

I've flown them (for flights within Europe). The planes are nice - leather seats. It was maybe a year ago, so I don't remember a lot of specifics, except that it was nice experience overall, and I would certainly fly with the airline again.

I just booked them for a trip to Rome this summer. The cost was half of any other fare I could find -- the catch is we spend one night in Brussels coming home. We will be on AA flights, except for the Rome -Brussels leg on the return.
I've been hoping that I didn't make a Terrible Mistake for some unknown hidden reason!! |
I flew them from Brussels to Berlin last summer. I was dazed after lots of delays, but it was a nice airline...the people were very helpful and nice. I would not worry about the airline at all. Enjoy your trip :)

SN Brussels was formerly Sabena before it went bankrupt after 9/11 and I think was partially owned by Swiss. I flew coach on Sabena from Cincinnati to Brussels in 1999. The food was better than other airlines coach food.

Swissair used to own Sabena. Both went down together.
The current SN Brussels appear to be owned by 35 large shareholders/entities from Belgium. It signed an agreement late last year to merge with Virgin Express. No idea if that's been completed or not. It doesn't seem SN Brussels is tied to Swiss International Airlines. |
