I agree 100% with Egbert. I would never consider spending 2 nights in Antequera over Granada. I'm a slow traveler and spent 2 nights in Antequera a couple of years ago - it was more than enough even for me. If you want to visit Antequera it's an easy daytrip from Malaga. Definately visit Cordoba as a daytrip from Sevilla. Cordoba really deserves more than a daytrip but if you only have time for daytrip at least visit this vibrant city.

another vote for Malaga, being my second favorite city in Spain. nothing can top Madrid for me Malaga has that small town charm, its people are wonderful and friendly. and it's got a fabulous Picasso museum. a must see if you're an art fan. the alcazaba is well worth a visit, the architecture and the views are also fabulous.
anyway, we saw fabulous flamenco at Casa de la Memoria in Sevilla. I highly recommend it! we stayed at Hotel Alcantara in the same building practically so that was mighty convenient when our show let out late at night.
I wish we had had time to see Ronda and Antequera, both were on my list to see. alas, one cannot do everything I spose.
I would have to put in my two cents for the Alhambra (but disagree that it's the only must see, or however that went up there). it's a definite must see!! by the same token, the real alcazar in Sevilla is also a must see in my opinion and actually? I like it a teensy bit more than the Alhambra. both are gems not to be missed if you're in Andalucia.
hope that helps and I hope you enjoy your trip!!

oh yes, we also did a day trip to Cordoba from Malaga and had a really nice day. yep, we spent about 6 euros for the taxi to the mezquita and then took a leisurely stroll back through the wonderfully windy narrow streets eventually ending up at the train station at the end of our day there. definitely a very walkable city. also highly recommended
