Are there taxis at Cadorna Rail Station in Milan?

I am arriving at the Malpensa Airport and then it looks like the best way to get into town is by taking the Malpensa Express to the Cadorna Rail Station. My hotel (Hotel Speronari) says it is 200 yards off the Piazza Duomo at Via Speronari 4. I haven't been able to figure out exactly where this and will be arriving once it is dark out. Are there taxis at the Rail Station that I will be able to have take me to the hotel or will I be wandering aimlessly in the dark with my suitcase?

Hi Wendy,

We used the Malpensa Express to get to our hotel near the duomo a few years ago. Yes, there were taxis waiting, although if you were arriving at an odd hour (wee hours of the morning or something) you might have to call.

Your taxi should be able to take you to your hotel with no problem as long as you have the address. That's their job!

Note: the metro stops running rather early (7pm when we were there) in downtown Milan. Strange for a major city.

Buon viaggio!

Subway was running late in the evening when I was there 2 months ago.

But yes, your hotel is right off Duomo. It'll be a short taxi ride of a few minutes.

The Cadorna Express train takes you to the Cadorna station which is also a metro hub where you can take the red M1 Metro line for three stops to the Duomo, then the hotel is around the corner. (M1 in direction of "Sesto 1. Maggio", first stop Cairoli, second stop Cordusio, third Duomo.)
