Are there non-stop flights from SFO to Rome?

I am planning a trip to Italy next June and am wondering if anyone knows of non-stop flights from San Francisco to Rome, Italy. I thought I had heard an airline was planning to institute them, but now I can't remember which airline it might have been. Thanks for your help!

The only 2 airlines that I could think of possibly offering a non-stop service between the 2 cities are Alitalia and United. I'm NOT saying they do, just that if these 2 don't, I can't see any other airline doing it.

I wish, Kathryn, I wish. If anything has changed out there maybe someone will update us.

No one flys direct from SFO to FCO. Alitalia does not fly out of SFO. United used to fly direct to Milan but no longer does. United also used to fly direct from SFO to CDG but now only does so in the summer. While I canot predict what may happen in the future, I would not hold out much hope for such a direct flight anytime in the near future.
