Are there any deals to London or big cities in Europe?
Seems most of the prices I'm quoted are near $1000 R/T to London. Are there any deals to London or big cities in Europe? I wanted to go March / April.

Here's a nice website I just found that you can do a range of dates and get best deals - think it's a new website cause I'm not familiar with it and I usually check quite a few when I'm booking flights.

Norwegian has some very good fares and if you can fly out of JFK, $652 RT.
Direct flights, no layovers.

Check out Madrid; personally, I hope to never fly Norwegian again. Terrible experience two years ago (but I recognize many others have not had the troubles we did and the prices can be terrific but be aware of what you get for the base charge).

I'm interested to hear your story as well. We flew Norwegian (Premium class) Madrid - Copenhagen - LAX and were very satisfied customers. Our one-way tickets were under 600E, purchased about 10 days before we flew in September. The plane from CPH-LAX was a brand new Dreamliner with mood lighting. Premium seats were not lie-flat, but reclined about 75%. Considerably more comfortable than premium economy on other airlines. Entertainment system was excellent with a good choice of films. Flights were on time and the Copenhagen airport had good shopping (if you're up for a splurge). I missed most of the meals because I managed to sleep most of the way, unusual for me on westbound transatlantic flight.

We flew June of 2013 when Norwegian was beginning their long haul service. We purchased premium seats and knew the Dreamliner delays would mean a different airplane. Norwegian leased A340's through Hi-Fly so we figured our premium purchase would be a fair value even though not on one of the new planes. Two days before departure Norwegian called and said the A-340 would be replaced by a plane with no business/premium seating and we could cancel our trip or get a partial refund (the refund process took months and was only resolved when we challenged the full charge with the credit card company). There were folks on the plane who never received the notice we did.
The replacement airplane was a piece of crap - old and decrepit come to mind to describe it. I was assigned a seat (which I fortunately did not have to occupy) that had metal sections extending up on each side of the seat making it fit for a child only. I've never seen anything like it before or since.
The boarding of the plane was delayed three hours at JFK, with no real explanation provided. We had watched, initially with some humor, then in astonishment as the inexperienced check-in crew first did not know how to set up their lines (they actually could not figure out how to create a zig-zag pattern for queuing purposes), then later at the gate lose track of which seats and sections of the plane had boarded. In comparison, the free for all boarding in Bergen was smooth.
The food served was not fit for your pets. The airplane for the trip home was one of the leased A340's but both of our seats(in business) were broken in one way or the other.
Despite the new planes now delivered and the affordable prices, this experience left us thinking we would never fly Norwegian again. To be clear, we have flown, many "low cost" and other European airlines, including EasyJet, InterSky, SmartWings, Czech Air, Vueling, FinnAir, etc with no comparably bad experience (and that includes a massive delay getting to Prague on Smartwings).
To each their own and I'm glad your experiences were much better, but we are permanently scarred.

Your experience does sound miserable, dweislaw, and hopefully was an aberration and the result of too little preparation and the delay of aircraft delivery for which Norwegian wasn't to blame. I suspect, as crosscheck has mentioned, the bumps have been smoothed. I think at this point it would be worth a try.
