Are there 1day train passes in Milan?

It appears that the train from Malpensa airport to Milan central station is 11 E -- that seems really high. (I assume there's a cheaper bus -- how bad is it?) I'm going to be in Milan for 3 days and taking public transporation constantly. Can I buy an unlimited 1 day pass that includes the one way from Malpensa airport? I think I was instructed to do this in London and it was very handy -- something similar in city of Milan?

Fish - Why not take the bus? Cheaper - and goes direct to Milano Centrale.

You're right -- I can take the shuttle bus to Milano Centrale for around 5 E. Once I get to Milano Centrale, I think I read that I could purchase an unlimited bus/subway/tram 48 hr pass for around 7 euro -- does this sound familiar?

Follow-up:

The Malpensa Shuttle bus was great -- very cheap and easy to take to Central Station.

I purchased a 48 hour pass at the Centrale metro station for 5.50 Euro --unlimited use on metro, buses, street cars for 2 days, came in very handy. Wasn't sure if the 48 hours began from my first stamp -- i'm relieved I purchased an additional one day pass on my 3rd day (3 E) since there was a cop checking tickets at the gate, saw some tourists getting fined.

The Malpensa shuttle that leaves every hour from the airport for the Milano centrale train station costs only 5 euros. It is a white bus located outside of the baggage claim area (to your L as you exit the doors). The journey takes ~50 minutes.

Once at the train station, you can indeed buy a city-wide transportation pass from the ticket window that is good on all metros, busses, etc for under 6 euros.
