Are the shops on the Viaduc des Arts open in the evenings?

Or would a visit be better scheduled for the day time?

thanks!

I'm not familiar with shops on the viaduc, but there are high-end home decoration and specialty stores under it. They aren't like mall shops, so are generally open regular shop hours, which may be from about 10 until around 7 pm, M thru Sat. There might be some open later, but that's my impression. Many of them are specialists in a certain kind of work, they aren't even regular stores exactly where people go in and shop from things on display. For example, there might be an expert in antique paper or textile restoration or something like that.

The shops are really not that interesting at least to me. The only one I found fascinating was the hand laundry. It's better to spend your time in the garden on top of them

We found many of the shops to be interesting in a non-touristy way. We went inside very few - many are just walk-bys where we looked in from the outside. Like Christina mentioned, I suspect that they are not open in the evenings. Some maybe not even to 7PM. The walk on top of the viaduc is enchanting. Good views if the neighboring architecture.

thanks very much for the insight - so between your comments (and additional research!) it seems like the 'shops' are almost more studios or "interesting businesses" as opposed to retail. makes sense.

thanks again!
