Are stores open over Easter in Brittany?

We are planning atrip to Brittany over Easter but would liek to know first if Antiquities / Brocantes are generally open over the Religious Holiday?

Since Easter is on Sunday, anything that is usually open on a Sunday will be open.
It is important to note, however, that Monday is a holiday in all of France except Alsace-Moselle (which takes Good Friday instead).

I don't think anyone gave you a definative answer to your questions, and I won't either. However, if I were you I would assume that the stores would not be open. Brocantes are not usually open on Sunday anyway - not many stores of any type are open on Sundays except in the real touristy towns - like Concarneau (maybe) & Mt St. Michel. The only exception I know about is the Sunday Antiques/Brocante market in l'Isle sur la Sorgue in Provence which is open on Easter Sunday - but that's about as far away from Brittany as you can get.

We were in Paris on May Day once, and everything was closed - the Louvre, Printemps, etc.

May Day is the one day of the year when the most things are closed, because not only must you pay employees double to work on that day, but they also get a full day of compensatory time on top of it.
