Are Italians the best lovers?
Where does one find that romantic interlude?
Italy...Paris...Spain? Can Englishmen light that torch?
Without a doubt...Italian men...
Irishmen -
Not in this house.
As someone with some experience in such type of diversity I must say that Latin lovers indeed deserve the reputation they have (mmmmmm!).
Italians are wonderful until you actually have to talk to them...
oh god! Spanish Spanish and More spanish!!!
Janice: LOL,,,, what a thread! I WISH I could tell you! ;-) Judy
Yes, Janice, do tell...This is a legitimate question for we women travelers...we women in the spirit of exploration...we need to know.
LUCKY EVA!
I found the Italian women so-so.
I am serious though. I found Italians to be good but very into themselves and to the point; when they meet you it is basically, 'I want to sleep with you'. Spanish lovers may have the same agenda but will sweep you off your feet.
Barcelona, anyone?
and the Irish will make you laugh, ply you with drink and make you feel like the most gorgeous woman on earth.
At the risk of re-phrasing an old joke...

Happy is the woman who has...

an Italian lover for her bed
a French chef for her table
a German mechanic for her car
a British policeman to patrol her block
and the Swiss to organize everything in her life...

as opposed to...

a Swiss lover
a British chef
a French mechanic
a German policeman
and Italians in charge of everything...

Sounds like I have to start doing a little more than checking out the art and architecture while I'm on vacation!
Do you think my husband will get in the way?
French Canadian! Hands down. ooooooooops :)
Perhaps Ireland is being overlooked...
Speaking for the 10% - any comments about gay Italians?
As for Barcelonians - the men and women, straight and gay, are
gorgeous but a little stand offish. As for the gay men in Madrid - that's a totally different story. This may sound a bit objectiving - but I had enough "wonder bread" in kindergarden - give me the mutli-grains any day.

Of the non-Americans, my favorite was a Hungarian. He was a romantic free spirit, passionate AND tender.
