Are humorous or controversial threads allowed?

Seems like all the interesting threads get censored. And can we just sabotage a thread we don't like by posting something over the top, knowing that the entire thread will be sanatized? Just to qualify this as a "travel" thread, I'll post this question: What's your favorite restaurant and/or bar in the 1st Arron., Paris?

try posting with a better heading

Re-reading my heading, I suppose this could be considered yet another clothing post! Of course, that is kind of funny in itself, perhaps further dooming this query!

Okay, I'll bite on the question. While I've only been to Paris once, my favorite bar in the 1st Arr is Flann O'Brien's, near the Louvre. A good pint, and great company!

Sabotage can be an effective tool when used correctly on some of the arrogant, pompous ass motormouths around here. :)
