I've heard Bush being described as many things - but "shrubby"? What exactly does that mean? None of the following definitions seem to fit - http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=shrubby :-? :-? :-? :-?

shrub = bush
I was alluding to the OP's concern that it was our President's fault we can't wear fanny packs. Nothing more.
Didn't realize it was such a bad choice of words. I'll consult my dictionary next time.

Wow, I didn't realize This "topic" would get so many responses. Thanks to all of you, especially Taggie for the British phrase lesson! I have been using a messenger bag, but its really more space then I need. As for looking American, I'm usually mistaken for Italian, Turkish, Spanish, Middle Eastern and thats here in America! BTW, I'm Polish-German, so I don't worry about it so much. One of the women coming to London with us is taking one, and I just wanted to make sure that it wasn't in the same category as wearing a stars&stripes tee shirt. Thanks again.
