It is not hard to get answers to Istanbul hotels here at Fodor's.

I have never heard of nancy's hotel.

My good gay friends stayed at Angel's Home and HATED it.

The Ararat (Sultahnamet) looks nice on the website and the price is right. Just hoping someone had actually stayed there.
