Aran Islands in the fall?

I just booked a trip to take my parents to Ireland the next to last week in October.
The ferries appear to only run to the islands until Sept.
Any one know of an alternate way to get there??

Thanks!

The ferry runs from Galway on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday starting in October.

Found some more information on daily runs from Galway. The other information I gave you was from the Doolin Ferry Lmt. check the following:
http://www.aranislandferries.com/schedule.htm

We've tried to do this twice and both times the weather was so poor we skipped it. We have been advised not to go over to the Arans if the weather is not good--it's cold, windy and miserable. If weather's bad, hang out in Galway or drive the coast road up to Clifden. Good luck.
