We went to the larger of the Aran Isles in October 3 yrs ago from Rosseveal(sp?) but we were staying about 15min by car from where the boat left. It was a wonderful trip and they were bringing food (potatos, carrots, cabbage, etc, etc) It rained when we landed, but the day was not spoiled we had someone in a van take us around it was too wet for a pony cart. I would highly recommend the trip.

Oh, don't get me wrong--I'd love to go. But in November weather is iffy, trip from Clifden a minimum of 1.5 hours each way, and days are short. We'll just use it as an excuse to go back again next year!
