April weather in Berlin, Prague, Budapest and Vienna?

April weather in Berlin, Prague, Budapest and Vienna?
Just trying to make some organized decisions about what to pack for our one month trip. If anyone has hints about what the weather might be like from Easter, April 8th to May 5th, I would very much like information..or tips.......

As I always tell people, when they ask about the weather in central Europe, I say think "Midwest USA". Think Ohio, Indiana, etc. It will probably be in the 50's and possibly 60's. On the other hand, you could see frost some morning. It's just that "iffy" ---- just like in the Midwest in the Spring.

I would pack a cashmere sweater,a light coat, and gloves and a hat just in case, but the weather has been very mild (40-70's since mid Feb in most of the region) and hopefully will continue. It has been quite rainy though so the coat should be waterproof and maybe with a hood so you don't have to carry an umbrella. Have a wonderful time.
