April in Paris

My husband and I just purchased air and hotel for PARIS for the end of this month- spur of the moment!! I have been to Paris many years ago, but my husband has not. We will have our 35th wedding anniversary this summer, so this is our celebration. Does anyone have any suggestions for us? Just read a trip report on here that was quite interesting; but wondered if anyone has any "tips" for us. Thanks so much for your help. We are SO excited!

Congratulations! I was in Paris last week. I wish I could be there when everything is in bloom and it's warm. There is so much info here if you search "Paris." If you are there Monday-Sunday or close to that be sure to get the Navigo card. 16.20E plus a one time fee of 5E. Best buy in Paris for unlimited Metro and bus travel.

The Museum pass is a very good value if you like museums and plan your visits. Have a wonderful time!

Does anyone have a suggestion for COMFY womens shoes that don't look like klunky white sneakers?

I have Rieker black leather sneaker type shoes that I love. The center (where the laces are) is a separate panel and they are sleeker looking than a clunky black sneaker type shoe. I have a high arch, high instep, narrow heel and wider toe box. It's a nightmare to find comfy shoes that look good and I love the Rieker brand.

thanks, btw I loved your trip report which I just read! I have NO arch, and a wide foot- will look online for those shoes
