Appropriate clothing and fashion in Europe

I will be in Europe for 2 months this summer. I like to wear what is fashionable in the US but appropriate in Europe. Please let me know how common and appropriatge the following wear is in Europe

1. Carpenter jeans or pants
2. Convertable pants (cuts off to shorts)
3. Doc Martin shoes. (mine are 8855 steel toe high tops)
5. Bowling shoes for evenings
6. Swimwear. I like to wear speedos but do have a pair

Thanks for your input

My first message was cut at the last sentence:

Sorry to say this but by the looks of your list, you must be a teenager. Do you own any "grown up" clothing. Dress like Prince William and you will look perfect!

The bowling shoes are definitely in. Everyone is wearing them, even grannies. Most locals aren't really into shorts - jeans are whats always in. If you wear most of what you listed, you will stick out as a tourist. Trust me, I lived in Europe as a student for 2 years.

I was in London this April and a few guys were wearing carpenter jeans.

I think the NIKE jammer would be a good idea for an American

so its all about cloths. Have a little more self confidence and forget about fashion. Your European experience will have nothing to do with a doppy idea about the right cloths.

My friend who lives in London has a couple of pairs of carpenter pants, so you'd probably be OK. Docs and bowling shoes...definitely OK. Convertible pants...well most people don't wear shorts in the towns and cities...if you go to a beach area though the shorts feature will come in handy. Swimwear...not sure what the state of swimwear fashion is over there, the jammers may paint you more as an American, but I say just wear what you want.
