Apple wine at the Frankfurt airport-what to do with a 3 hour layover?

I am aware that one of Frankfurt's specialties is apple wine, however, is it available at the airport as I have a 3 hour layover there. Suggestions on how to kill time during the layover are appreciated also.

Hello Larry,
3 hours layover is not very long....I suggest you stay inside the airport.. once you're in the airport take the escalator to the 3rd level where you'll find lots of restaurants and there is also lots of shops on the departure level as well.. check this web site..

Enjoy !

I didn't get to eat at any airport restaurants, but there is at least one liquor store there that carries apple wine. And vodka. And Eiswein! I believe it is near Harrod's...

Last summer, I visited the Frankfurt airport. I found that there are duty-free shops, international restaurants, grocery stores, as well as boutiques and a beauty salon. My advice is stay in the airport, have some ice cream (they have some cheap and quick ice cream places), maybe buy a book or a magazine, and just wait.
Then again, the Frankfurt airport has a train station right underneath, and maybe you could stop off in the city somewhere and do something there.
I've no idea what sort of things there are to do in Frankfurt, as my only experience of it was in the airport.
