Apple Strudel in Prague

Has anyone heard of the place where they make and sell "great apple strudel" in Prague. It was on TV today and I didn't catch where in Prague it was. If anyone knows where it is I would appreciate knowing.

Topping- I kow it was mentioned on Samantha Brown's show, but I don't know the name. Or whether they really mentioned a name, come to think of it.

Samantha Brown's Prague episode didn't mention the name of this place. The Travel Channel site has a photo of her in front the place but it offered no name also.

I had written down the business name Studl while watching Samantha Brown's show. The strudel looked delicious! Her web site quotes her as saying:

"Strudel!
There's a famous place in Prague to get Strudel. It's way out in the suburbs so very few if any tourists go. But it's certainly worth a trip in a taxi. There's about four different fillings with apple of course being the most popular. But I really fell in love with the plum strudel. The strudel costs only $1.30 and it's the size of a loaf of bread. Only problem was there was no coffee. We thought some ten year old kid could make a killing if he set up a coffee stand. "

According to a member on the Samantha Brown forum, the business name is Susta Studel.
One member wrote "Susta Strudl can be reached by telephone at: (420) 222-590-912, but I don’t believe anyone there speaks English. If my interpretation of the sign is correct, it is open from 7:45am until 5pm."

Hi Josh - loved your videos. We just got back and wish we'd seen them before we went. We stayed at a friend of our daughter's apt. in the suburbs, perhaps near the strudel shop.

There is a tram line on Seifertova that will get you near this strudel shop. You can take tram 9 which stops at the main train station.
