Two vacation rental agencies are Nice Pebbles (www.nicepebbles.com) and Go Nice(www.go-nice.com). Check out their websites for answers to your questions. I believe both owners are British.

Have tried them both, but finding it hard to get twin beds in an apt. Thank you

Write and ask them. Sometimes they are available but usually are made up as one larger bed.

Not sure if this will help you, however here are 2 listings that I have been in contact with. Both owners were very responsive in answering my emails. I rented the 1 bedroom apartment for this Spring.

VRBO 97159 This is a 1 bedroom but has a sofa bed in living room

Holiday Lettings /TripAdvisor #145299 This is 2 bedroom thaat looks great . The owner lives in NYC and was easy to talk to

Hope this helps you

Anyone else? I'm also looking. The one we usually stay in is not available. There are hundreds of apartments but hoping someone can recommend one they have stayed in recently. Will look at VRBO97159.

Tdk320n - did you stay at that apartment on Holiday Lettings? I wrote the owner but did not get a reply. I am very interested in renting it.

You might like to try Ajoupa. Is not in the old town but close. At the start of Rue Masséna, the main pedestrian street full of shops and restaurants. You can have a glimpse of Place Masséna from your window/balcony if your room is on the street side. I have stayed here twice and was quite pleased both times. It is an apartment-hotel with a reception desk. Last Novermber when I was there a girl who was at the reception was quite helpful, English speaking, I thought she was German or Scandinavian. I don't see any photos of twin bedded rooms but I can tell from my last stay that my large bed was actually 2 single sized beds put together so probably they can make it as twin beds. Deffinitely much larger than normal hotel rooms and the kitchen was quite well equipped including a micro-wave and a coffee machine. However I don't remember having a washing machine. My stay was for 3 nights so I did not look for one. I paid about € 50.00 per night, low season rate. No breakfast provided.

Micheline
I finally decided on a rental from HomeAway.couk
listing 874261. It is a studio in the Old Town in a building with an elevtor.
The reviews on the apartment were very good and the owner was extrememly responsive.
I will be there early June 2014.
If you are interested and it is not to late for your booking I will be very happy to share my experiences at this apartment with you

Hi Tina - I''m going with my sister in law so really need twin beds or at least a double and a couch that I can sleep on. The owner on Holiday Lettings just replied. It sleeps four and my daughter who lives in London might fly in for a few days. I think I'll be renting June 14-21. I'll try to see if there is anything else but so far it looks pretty good.
This will be my third time in Nice. I really love it because it is so pretty and walkable and easy to get to other places without a car.

Thanks kappa1. I'll look at ajoupa. We won't need a washing machine.
