I used this service two years ago - we stayed in the "Julia". It was perfect for us.
I recommend staying in the Piazza Navona, Campo de' Fiori or Pantheon areas. These apt's run a few Euro more than the other quarters listed on the above website and are worth every cent.

We used www.sleepinitaly.com about a year and a half ago and were perfectly pleased with the way they do business. I'd get on www.slowtrav.com for the specific reviews, though, as recommended. That's a great resource.
