We are thinking of visiting the Basque Country in September/October, and have had little luck finding sites with holiday rentals. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Are you interested in the French or the Spanish side? I have addresses of residences in French Basque Country. For the Spanish side, there may be some in Maribel's Guides www.maribelsguides.com

Sorry, we'll be going there from Barcelona, so are interested in the Spanish side. One main point of interest is Bilbao and the new Guggenheim Museum. I've looked at Maribel's Guides, and found hotels, but not vacation apartments. Any recommendations?

I had a tough time finding apartment rentals in the Basque Country. I don't think they are hep to vacation rentals in that area yet.

Thanks, rialtogrl, I've already been to the nakatur site, but I'd be interested in what you can tell me about the rental in Haro. I agree; unlike Barcelona, they haven't caught on to the vacation apartment rentals in Basque Country.
