Apartment Rentals

While in Florence, we rented a very nice, convenient apartment for a week. Can this be done in Munich during the Octoberfest? If so, what are the websites?

Thanks

Hi, While I cannot answer your question, perhaps you can tell us about the apartment in Florence as I will be renting 7 days June 2005, and would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks.

You might also look on slowtrav.com where there are listings and reviews of rental places. vrbo.com is vacation rental by owner. Have a done a text search here for munich apartment?

kaiesha, we rented the Lepri apartment at San Lorenzo Apartments in Florence during the summer of 2003 and were very satisfied. The owner, Gianna, has various apartments for rent for as little as three days.

I also have a review of such on slowtrav.com if you're interested.

Kaiesha,

the information I have on the Florence apartment is:

74 Borgo Ognissanti

Valentinas mobile
is +39 32 856 7587.

If you have any problems please call Bill Keene on 00 44 (0)7958
0171 88. Inglenook, Rusper Road, Ifield, Crawley, West
Sussex RH110HP.

Bill Keene was the owner. I found this on the web, but have lost the link. I know I found it through slowtrav.com somehow.

It was an okay rental. A little less nice than I expected, but the bathroom was very updated. noise was somewhat of a problem-but then I am a light sleeper.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

To Mclaurie: Yes, I did a text search and found the link you referenced, but they were booked.

Thanks again.

hi there,
I guess there is just a little chance. First, You are pretty late for this year. Second there are not so many appartments for short time renting in Munich.
Try
www.fewo.direkt.de
the biggest site for those things in Germany.
The second best idea is: go to the offical tourism site and send them an email, they sure will help You if there is a chance.

have fun
Gar
