We have had very good luck with an outfit called Regency.....do not have their website marked on this computer but a google search of Regency Apartments London should do it. They were in several sizes.,prices etc. Now when we travel we try to find apartments where ever we go.....post again if you can't find them...good luck
bkf

In the same space and with no extra effort you could just as easily have typed "not over 200 pounds a night" or "around $1000 US per week" or whatever. That would have meant a whole lot more than "not too expensive".

you know maybe all mean posters should be made to sit next to the kids in first class whose mother cares not if they misbehave. ....

and you know being nice is free.

How is offering a helpful suggestion on how to get better answers being a "mean poster"?
Sorry, but I think it makes good sense to give an indication of price -- not too expensive means nothing.
I was not rude to the poster in any way, just helpful.

I agree with xxx. I never spend more than £100 per night for a studio or 1 bedroom flat in London. For me that is not too expensive. Others post about the great deals they got for £250 per night. So for them I assume that is not too expensive. So thomas, what is your budget. It make a very big difference who/what to recommend.

thomas,
Reading my Frommer's newsletter and they suggest the "Coach House London Vacation Rentals" - http://chslondon.com/vr/properties.htm
for very reasonable flats around the city.
There are ways to answer questions that make a poster (questioner) feel "good" and there are ways to answer a question that make the poster feel "bad". I think poster, xxx succeeded in latter... just my opinion.
