Thanks for these suggestions! nytraveler, yes, that's the trouble I seem to be running into (the minimum stay bit). We don't care about the size of the apartment; it's just two of us. The cost is definitely a factor; the cheaper the better without being gross (though it doesn't seem like there are any "gross" places in Switzerland!). We'd prefer to have our own space, as opposed to staying in hostels and sharing bathrooms. It seems that most of the hostel prices I'm seeing are ~CH50 per PERSON; that seems high for sharing spaces.
