Apartment recommendation in Positano for 4 adults

4 adults looking for an apartment on the Amalfi Coast for next May. Prefer Positano and apartment should have 2 bedrooms and preferably 2 baths. Terrace much preferred.

My wife and I were in Positano about 10 years ago and stayed at the Villa Rosa. Prices for that place sure have sky rocketed. Looking for an apartment this time for more room and bang for the buck.

If anyone has a recommendation for same type place in Venice or Rome (minus terrace), please post. I found a few on this forum, but not many for Positano.

Thanks
Mark

If you have a car casa colombo in priano is great. 8 minute drive to positano very quiet, great restaurants near by.transit also but not so frequent

We stayed at La Tavolozza in Positano in 2009 and Francesca and Celeste were great. We were four adults and had a large two bedroom suite, a kitchen area and beautifully tiled bathrooms. We had a tiny balcony area but they may have something else with a patio. I have Celeste's e mail address as [email protected]
Yu may find more about them if you do a search here.

Last year we stayed at www.villalesirene.com and can't recommend it high enough. The terrace for the large apartment (3 bedroom) is just fantastic with views to die for. The owners could not have been nicer, letting us pick lemons and herbs out of the garden and even bringing us fresh mozzarella one day.

I would be staying there again next month, but they were booked by the time I decided to return.

Email is [email protected] and Chiara will get back to you promptly. If you contact her, tell her Engred says Ciao!

Thanks for all the replies. I'll check them all out. I'll be driving in from Orvieto area, but will most likely be dropping car off in Sorrento.

I'll be exploring summerinitaly.com, but have also been looking at vrbo.com. Any + or - with vrbo?

Thanks again for all the suggestions.

If you find a place you like on VRBO be sure to check the references---you are dealing with the owners direct.

And, cross reference the property on Summerinitaly.

I think I originally found Villa Le Sirene on VRBO and it was great. Be sure to cross-reference though!
