Apartment Paris - London for 6

As a first time user who stumbled on this last night I am impressed by the number of people responding.

We are bringing our four grown children (18-22) to Paris and London this July. Four days in each.

I would be grateful for any recommendations (especially for Paris) for an apartment source that is affordable and located in a nice neighborhood where they can experience boulangeries and patisseries (okay, that's realy for me).

I believe we got a good lead for London but will also appreciate any other ideas. Merci. Thank you.

We have booked apartments for 6 (4 adults and two kids) in London and Paris for next month (March). In London we have booked through Great Trips Unlimited the Cadogan Lane apartment. It is located in the Knightsbridge/Belgravia area with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms.

In Paris we have rented the apartment on Rue de Villersexel (near Musee D'Orsay) through ParisianFlats. It has two bedrooms and two bathrooms but a pull out sofa in the living room and a lounge sofa that can be a bed. Our kids a younger (10 and 13) so that works for us, but may be a bit cramped for you.

Anyway, can't give you anymore details since I haven't been yet, but will post a trip report when we return. Both agencies have been extremely professional and helpful and there are good pictures on their websites.

Welcome aboard!

You have already posted this (at least for the London part) and received answers. To locate your threads click on your name.

For Paris check out parisperfect and homelidays (note the spelling, not homeholidays) for good choices for Paris.

Thank you. I'm just learning how to use this. Fabulous tool (and people) wish I knew before spending probably 6 hours scouring the Internet blindly.

Hi Jesse,

I just went through the process of finding a rental in Paris for four nights (most agencies seemed to have a five or seven night minimum) and will be renting through Vacation in Paris (vacationinparis.com). So far they've been great to deal with--very responsive).
