Apartment in Rome?

Anyone know a good apartment reference source for a family of 4, 3 nights in June around Campo di Fiori or Piazza Navonna? We've found 2 internet sources - RomePower and RomeSweetHome. Anyone know if these are reliable?

I have these two rented in September:

You can view a calendar to see if your dates are available. If you should choose either of them let me know, I sure would be interested in a review.

The trick generally is renting an apartment for only 3 nights, but I know they do less than a week -- 3 nights might not be possible, but I think their website will tell you.

I recently rented an apartment through sleepinitaly.com. All went smoothly. No security deposit was required and the price was lower than prices I saw for the exact same apartment on other web sites.

I second sleep in italy - www.sleepinitaly.com

I have rented with them several times only I don't know their policy of 3 nights only. I have always had put a small deposit on my cc with them which is deducted from the remaining cash balance.

Another good site as mentioned above,is www.realrome.com - I know you can use their pop up calendar to check availability.

We rented an apartment last June near the Vatican. It sleeps 5 and has excellent air conditioning. Check it out at www.alloggroroma.com/e_room.htm
No cooking facilities but there's a market directly across the street.

This was my first choice until I found out they had no Air conditioning. In the winter months it would be my first choice. Great location and the guy responds right back to you, seems great but need my AC.

Got it. Thank you all. I will try all those sites.

Can I just whine a little - finding the right place with 2 kids is hard work. Nothing like my backpacking days!
