Apartment in Paris for family of 4?

I seem to have trouble getting my questions on the right forum! (sorry if this has appeared elsewhere). We are a family of 4 (daughter 13, and son 11), hoping to go to Paris at Easter if we are not too late in booking. Can anyone recommend a small apartment or comfortable hotel for us? Location is a consideration, we'd like to be able to walk to some sights, but we are travelers and expect to use the Metro. My husband and I were in Paris several times before kids, so it has been a few (!) years. Cost is a consideration, but we don't need dirt cheap. Something clean and comfortable with a bit of local charm would be great. Any help greatly appreciated!

Here are reviews of the apartment we rented for a family of four in June. It was one of the few I found with 2 bedrooms, queen bed in one and twins in the other.

Grand Hôtel Jeanne d'Arc has a quad for under 130€/night!

Thanks, wliwl and Beatchick, it has taken me a couple of days to find time to get back into this. I will definitely follow up on your information! appreciate it!

Hi Beachfamily, You might be lucky and get into Grand Hotel Jeanne d'Arc but it is often booked out months ahead. I have booked a studio apartment in the Latin Quarter with this group for 2 weeks in October and found them good to deal with so far. I wont be able to judge them until afterwards of course.

I had a quick look and although a lot are taken over easter, two that sleep 4 in St Germaine (Guis11 E1008 a week near St Sulpice and Seine75 1290 a week on rue de Seine near cnr rue du Buci) were available and at least one in the Marais (Amel68 976 a week but a bit further out in rue Amelot) were also available. Try other central districts (there is a pick list on the left) if those are not suitable. I would hurry before the Easter period is booked.

The prices are per week and that is usually the minimum booking period but at those prices - particularly the two cheaper ones - they are only about 250 Euros a night if you book a week and stay 4 nights.

I just came back from Paris yesterday, staying at this apartment:

I recommend:

Beautiful apartments of all sizes on the Isle St Louis. Hard to be the location! Phillippe & Christian (the owners) are a pleasure to detail with!

Hi Beachfamily:
I am taking my daughters in June and booked a great apartment on the following site... www.louer-paris.com

The prices were very good, and having your own kitchen etc is always helpful with kids. Have a great trip!

I too booked with private paris for our trip in June. We are also a family of four (kids are 12 & 8) and booked the rue de grenelle in the 7th arr.I hope it is as nice as it looks!
