apartment in paris and venice

We need an apartment in Paris for three adults and one in Venice for five adults in April. Does anyone have any specific recommendations for an agency that you have found to be helpful? Thanks.

We highly recommend vacationinparis for a Paris apartment. The company is based in New Jersey. Can't recommend one for Venice.

Here's a great agency that does both France and Italy: http://www.villeetvillage.com/

Also you might want to take a look at my listing of other top sites for finding accommodation in France: http://www.wickedgoodtraveltips.com/?p=255

Happy travels!

hi, faishaq,

I've never rented an apartment in Paris, but there is loads of advice on this forum by people who have [and a very recent thread that attracted lots of good comments about the agency they used].

however, i have rented in Italy. in rome, we used www.rome-accom.com, who actually have properties all over italy, so you could try them.

in Venice, this easter we are renting through www.holiday-rentals.co.uk, who direct you to the actual owners, like VRBO.

www.slowtravel.com is a good place to look for recommendations and ideas.

good luck,

regards, ann

Lots of time we do private rentals through owners we found on VRBO. I know some people aren't comfortable doing this though. In Venice we just rented a couple weeks ago through veniceapartments.org and were very pleased with them.
