Apartment in Paris

Looking for a 2 bedroom apartment for a week in June in Paris. Any suggestions.

Narrow your scope.
  • Cost
  • Location
  • Interests
  • Infirmities, if any

Do realize that the vast majority of short term apartment rentals in Paris are illegal. The city has clamped down big time so any listing you consider -- make sure the city's registration number is prominently displayed.

What is your budget?

This June?

VRBO search for 2 bedroom June 7-14. First one on the list has the registration. https://www.vrbo.com/1628595a Without further information, that's about as good as I can do to help.

I use homeaway.com.

I found a legal one bedroom and my brother also on airbnb. Just look for the registration number.

Janisj, last 4 years spent dealing with life, including 2 deaths in the family. I do know the difficulties Paris has had with unlicensed rentals. Happily I think we have found a place in the 6th, still working on it. Now I need help with London. Should I start a new thread? I know you are the resident expert on London and my knowledge is limited.

Sorry about all the troubles in your family.

>>Should I start a new thread? I know you are the resident expert on London and my knowledge is limited.<<

Well one of the 'experts' maybe but not 'resident'. (I wish :) )

Yes, I'd probably start a new thread since the title of this one says only Paris and the thread is tagged for just France.

London is much easier when it comes to flats because they are legal -- at least currently. Be sure to include your budget when you re-post.

We love londonperfect.com, their apartments are beautiful and in great locations!

LondonPerfect is quite good -- but also at the pricier end of the spectrum. Everything depends on one's budget.

HomeAway and VRBO are the same company, and, although they have kept the individual websites, I don't think you will see any differences in offerings, prices or policies. We usually compare airbnb to HomeAway. Hometogo.com is a good way to see listings from all the various short term vacation rental offerings.

Thanks for the info. We have found a place with ARBO/HomeAway.

Thanks! I will start a new post with all the pertinent information. Everything has changed here and I am having a little trouble navigating the Forum.
