Apartment in Athens

A friend of mine is visiting Athens for four nights and has asked for my help in selecting an apartment for him. This is an apartment that we both liked:

We would love feedback on this apartment.

Hoping to get some responses soon....

Under "search Forums" enter "Travelgirl's Trip of a Lifetime." In her lengthy trip report she has a section on her apartment in Athens which she recommended. Good luck.

Happytrvlr thanks a lot for your response. I just searched Travelgirl's trip report and looked at the apartment mentioned by her. Though the website has six apartments, they are all for larger groups. The price also reflects that. The lowest that they quote is 200euros/night for 4 people.

Are you familiar with the apartment that we have shortlisted is located. What would you say about it? Are there anything else that you might notice from the pictures?

Please any other recommendations are most welcome.

Although I don't know the apartment, the location looks good, very close to many sites & Plaka. Only a short walk from Monastiraki Metro station too.

This is one I have always considered (I stay in Athens 7-8 times a year), right in Plaka, probably a bit quieter location than the other one ( it's hard to tell just how close it is to the many bars in that area),

Yiassas Thanks a lot for your feedback. I have written to the homeaway apartment where you usually stay. Am waiting fopr a response from them.

Thanks again

It's not where I usually stay Rajshiv, but as I said it is one I consider near the top of the list if I need it. Because it's often only a couple of nights I use a hotel, but the times I've stayed longer & enquired about it I was too late, it was booked!
Please let us know what it is like if you do stay there.
