Aparthotel Silver Barcelona
 

Has anyone stayed there recently? We plan to take our 11 year old daughter to Barcelona and are looking for reasonably priced accommodation in a safe area. Thanks for any info.

Do not know that one but we stayed at the Citaindes aparthotel on the Rambla. We thought it was excellent, convenient, well appointed and centrally located. Ask for a room in the back building if you stay there, as it is quieter. It also has a laundry in the basement.

Elizabeth: I have a reservation at the Aparthotel Silver in Barcelona in October. I posted a request but have received no info on this hotel. I understand it's in a decent part of town and on a tiny quiet street. The price is very reasonable. If you end up there before October, please post me some feedback. Enjoy your stay in Barcelona...

Elizabeth: I'll let you know for sure about the Aparthotel Silver. I don't expect a Taj Mahal so I won't be disappointed unless it's a complete dump. If you're ever in San Diego I'll buy you a cup of java.
