Anyone who can tell us about the other coast of Italy?

Has anyone any experience with the Adriatic Sea shore of Italy? Always we see everyone staying on the Mediteratian Sea coast and seldom does anyone discuss the climate on the other coast.

Anyone?

I know Patrick has traveled in that area, but I don't think he can post here anymore. Try a search.

Why can't Patrick post here anymore?

Patrick travels for months at a time. Here is part of his trip report for that area.

Rimini, Miramare, Riccione, Ancona, the teutonic invasion of the 60/70ties, bring back great memories. Today you might think of Russians and poisonous algae. ;-)

I'd suggest the Gargano peninsula and the Tremiti islands which are well known to Italian holidaymakers, but seem to attract very few foreign visitors.
