You look to be in luck;
Spanair - $81 US non-stop
Granada, Spain to Barcelona, Spain:
Spanair Flight JK6621 on a Boeing 717 (jet) in coach class
(operated by AEBAL
Departs Granada, Spain (GRX) Mon, Apr 21 12:15p 1 hr 10 min
Arrives Barcelona, Spain (BCN) 1:25p
There is one other flight leaving at 10:25 p.m. getting in at 11:45 - same price

I can only get 41250 - 1283 for Orlando - Edinburgh right now - scary high. Is Orlando usually like that to get to Europe?
If not, then waiting until January or the first announcement of a seat sale to Europe from the major carriers probably makes sense.
Consider flying into Glasgow - it handles far more international traffic than EDI and is only a 50 minute $15 bus ride away - right to downtown Edinburgh. This fall I flew into Edinburgh from Brussels and out of Glasgow back home.

No doubt it is a risk, but hsometimes if it makes the difference between getting a chance to go, or not, it's worth it.
Remember, you can eliminate the risk at either end by stopping in London, or whatever hub you go into, for a day or two

You are going to kill me
21 people from 5 different airports to the same destination in any of 3 countries!!!!!!!
Maybe I can ballpark some stuff for you in the next week or so, but don't have too much faith.

Hi Aramis,
Thank you for your kind offer!
I need 2 tickets departing Des Moines (DSM to Venice (VCE) on June 24 and returning from Milan to DSM on July 16th.
I am finding flights for around $1500 right now. Can you work your magic and bring this amount down?
Thanks again. Laurie

Not quite correct - you need to get one bus into Glasgow city centre (c.30 mins) then a train (50 mins) or bus (?) to Edinburgh. There is no direct bus.

I have no problem flying into Glasgow if that is better, though our B&B is in Edinburgh the first day... close enough, though.
I have gotten some good summer fares from Orlando in the past, including a $588 (incl taxes) flight from Orlando to London in August 2005. However, that WAS 2-3 years ago...
I will be looking for fare sales. Right now most seem to be through March, a couple through May. Hopefully the June ones will start popping up soon.

Thanks Aramis! I should mention, with regard to my flights, that I want to be able to accrue points on my Air France/Flying blue account with these flights. (Since they are so $$$ I will get many points!!)
(That is my reason for looking closely at KoreanAir). I really appreciate your help!

Aramis, you are indeed very kind to go to all this work. I am trying to find a good fare and connections from SEA to DBV. The best I'm getting is $1267 through Amsterdam/Zagreb and through Frankfurt/Amsterdam on the return. My tentative dates are 4/11 to 4/25. I found this on Vayama. I would even consider paying more not to leave DBV at 6:20 a.m.!

Hi Aramis,
Would you see what fares you can find for for my multi-city honeymoon trip?
JFK to VCE on 4/23/08
NCE to JFK on 5/7/08
We could also leave and/or return a few days later (for ex. 4/24 to 5/9).
Delta's website had the above trip, with nonstop flights on both ends, for $885/pp including tax.
We could also do the reverse (arrive in Nice, depart from Venice), but that seems to be more expensive.
Thanks!

Wow! That's a REALLY nice offer! I am always looking for low fares, as I live in Florida and my boyfriend lives in England. We need routes from either MIA or RSW to LHR. We're thinking of March next, but our dates can be flexible if I find a good fare.
Thank you so much!

I must bookmark this! We (two adults) fly from San Francisco or Oakland to Europe in late April, needing to be in Birmingham on April 27. My plan as of now is to fly to Paris, spend a couple of weeks, then take a week or perhaps less to accomplish the appointment in Birmingham, and fly back to Paris and leave a week later for home. Since our last trip to Paris involved hair-raising near misses in the connection flight realm, we hope to fly nonstop.
