Anyone stayed at Rome Airport Hilton?
Hi there, Anyone whos stayed there - can you tell me about it also can you walk directly to terminals without going outside?
thank you! |
You have to go outside the front of the Hilton for just a little way on a cobblestone path to get to the tunnel that connects you with the airport, you can take a wheeled luggage carrier from in front of the hotel all the way to the checkin counter.
|
As noted above, you are outside for about 20 feet to get to the lift that will take you to the pedestrian bridge to the terminals. If you are on an internatiional flight, you will be going out of Terminal C. It is kind of a longish walk to Terminal C, would probably take 15 minutes. If you have a lot of luggage, there is also a free shuttle bus.

thank you - can anyone tell me i am flying Alitalia and my girlfriend is flying Continental are they both in terminal C. Thanks so much!!!

Hi fly,
The respective airlines can tell you your departure terminal more accurately than we can. |
International Aliatlia flights from the US and places other than the EU generally arrive into Terminal C, as do most other US or non-EU international flights. YOu might want to confirm this by checking the airport website or contacting the airline; it would be very unusual for a flight originating in the US or outside the EU to be assigned to another terminal, but it might be possible. As far as the hotel itself is concerned, it is a very upscale, modern Hilton. We stayed there on the final night of our vacation last year, and felt like we had already left Italy and returned to the States.
I was fortunate to have enough Hilton points to stay for free, but I believe it is quite pricey...at least EUR 200 - 250 per night ($300 - $350). After 16 days of pasta, we decided to have cheeseburgers for dinner...3 burgers, 2 beers and a glass of wine came to $85! Very nice breakfast buffet. |
Correction...make that EUR 250 - 300 per night.
