Anyone stay in London using E & E Apartment Rentals??

Looking into apartment for 6 and found one in the Victoria/Pamlico area through this agency. They have no pics and can't tell me the exact apt until later otherthan it will be a 2 bedroom 2 bath flat with kitchen, close to tube stations, etc. Has anyone used this service before? The price was the best I've seen for our family. Thanks.

I have used them probably a doxen or more times. They are a great little agency and I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience. The reason they don't tell you a specific address is because that gives them flexibility - if a tennant stays over, or an owner has changed plans.

each of their flats is individually owned and all are different. What sometimes happens - say you booked a 1 bedroom and at the last minute all their 1 bdrms are full they will upgrade you to a 2 bdrm w/o charging the extra.

Now, a LOT of people are nervous about not knowing the exact flat and having photos of it in hand before booking. But as I said I have never had a problem - and besides the many times I've used them I've referred many friends there and all have appreciated the neighborhood, service and good rates.

They charge the same for each flat of a certain size and number of people. The worst you will get is your money's worth - the best is a posh place for the price of a standard flat.

Pimlico is a great neighborhood - walking distance to the river, Tate Britain, and Victoria Station.

that should be a DOZEN or more times. (maybe I should shut it down tonight, I'm making a LOT more typos than even I usually do)

Hi Nancy,

It sounds like you're considering staying at the apartment we rented for a couple of weeks this past Christmas.

It was a large, comfortable flat in a convenient and quiet location (amazing as it's just a block off of Vauxhall).

I can highly recommend E&E.

Please tell me how you contact this rental company.
Thanks

Thanks for responding so quickly! I have alot more confidence with this agency now that I've read your responses. I'm going to rent with this agency and take our chances as the price and location sound good.

The apartments do not have a website, but you may email them at [email protected]. Good luck Sher.

Hi Nancy

I have been looking for an apartment in London to stay in for a trip in August. Would you mind letting me know the price of the apartment you are thinking of renting?

Thank you!

Gracie, this apt is 169 euros per night for 4 plus an additional 15 euros for each extra person. Hope that helps!

Gracie, it's late and I gave you my info on France. Sorry! The price is 120 pounds per night.

How do you pay for the deposit? They want me to fax or email my credit card info and I've always declined to do that in the past for security reasons. What do other people do? Thanks.

My first thought is - most people on here fax or e-mail cc info all the time. If you are uncomfortable w/ this, split the number and send it in two different faxes or e-mails.

But better if you are nervous doing this, - just ring them up. You can call and give them your info over the phone.

A third option if none of the above works for you, is to ask them if they will accept a US$ check for the deposit. They could hold it and then you can pay in full when you arrive and get the ck back.

But I'd just call them - it will only cost a few ¢ if you use 10-10-987 or one of the other cheap long distance services.
