Anyone recommend a golf course in the the cote d'azure?

We are staying in Cannes....I don't golf that much but my husband does. Would like one with a lovely view or something special about the course....to make it a memorable day! Any suggestions?

Hi Candace,

I don't golf either. But I looked up in my Frommer's "Provence & the Riveria" book and there is the Country-Club de Cannes-Mougins, about 4 miles north of Cannes. Says it is one of the region's most challenging and interesting courses. There are others listed in the book as well, but this is the closest to where you are staying. The phone number is listed as 04-93-75-79-13. Let me know if yu have any more questions. Have a great trip!

Thank you Rex & Dina...I did find a website listing some in the vicinity and the Cannes-Mandelieu looked like a nice place with a view. May try that one. Thought I would see if anyone had actually been to any of them...Thank you both!

I have been right by Cannes-Mandelieu - - just haven't played there. It's 500 yards from a nice little seaside restaurant (looks like just a snack shop, but great full course seafood choices, wine list, everything) - - called Le Sweet.
