Anyone know what IC Plus means on Trenitalia?

There doesn't seem to be an explanation on the site.

From what I understand, it's an updated Intra City train. I'm not positive.

From the Trenitalia website:

INTERCITY PLUS
June 2003 saw the introduction of the first Intercity Plus carriages, the result of a plan that will modernise the entire fleet. These carriages have been literally transformed, with: more comfortable seats with new fabrics and colours, more functional lighting, larger rubbish bins suited to refuse division, ladies/gents washrooms designed for maximum comfort, seats equipped with power sockets for laptops and mobile phones in 1st class, with better-designed tables for working and reading.

Smoking is forbidden on all Intercity Plus trains.

A fast, new Bistro Bar catering service is also available, offering new seasonal menus and great value for money.

The Intercity Plus services - which are already operative on many sections - will be added to in 2005 -- better service at the same price (Intercity fares).

Oops - clicked too fast.

Go to trains & stations, click on Intercity, click on The Fleet.

Thank you! Sometimes I wonder about my reading comprehension skills when looking at Web sites. :-(

And can't wait to check out the "larger rubbish bins suited to refuse division"!

I don't think it is your reading comprehension skills (or mine are just as bad).

I know I have seen a listing of authorized Trenitalia travel agents by city (both in Italy and elsewhere), but with this latest re-design I can't find it. It has to be there somewhere, but I can't seem to figure out where.

YES! Bless you!

It was right under my nose and I couldn't see it. Thanks very much.
