Anyone know the difference between "classes" on these Greek ferries?

Hello -- my husband and I will most likely e traveing from Mykonos to Piraeus (Athens) via the Hellenic Seaways Highspped 4 vessel. As I am ready to book our tickets, however there are so many accomodation options, that I don't know which to choose!

We can choose from:
Business class (with or without a table)
VIP class (again, with or without a table)
Economy class

Can you please help us and let me know which class of acomodations you think we should choose, based on the fact that we will have luggage with us (we are going from Santorini to Mykonos to Athens, so 9 nights worth of luggage), and we are non-smokers. Are the business or VIP class accomdations smoother (my husband gets seas sick sometimes)? Would we even have enough room for our bags if we got seats in economy?

Thank you!

We travelled in business class on the high speed cat from Crete to Santorini, and also from Santorini to Mykonos.

On one trip, our luggage was taken from us by a porter as we boarded and stowed in an outside bin. On the second trip, the luggage was stowed inside, on the first floor of the cabin immediately after we boarded.

In business class, there are two rows that are window and aisle, and then 4 middle seats (2 and 2) separated by a table. Obviously, if there are only two of you, you will probably have other seatmates.

I don't think the class of cabin really matters in terms of seasickness. If you're prone to that, definitely take along tablets, or whatever other remedies you normally have to deal with it. One of our crossings was quite rough; the other one was fine.

The Business Class had an airline type seat, more comfortable than the economy seats. Luggage was left on the lower deck as you entered, grouped by destination. We were glad that we booked Business Class tickets.

There is no difference in business/vip class other than price in the Hi-Speed 4 catamaran car ferry. The economy seats are aircraft like seats in rows or around 'tables'. Perfectly comfortable, plenty of luggage space as well.

The other postings were about the Seajets which are much smaller passenger only catamarans.

So you think if I purchase the economy seats, we'll be just fine & comfortable for a 2.5 hour boat ride?
