TN Trio of Terror will be there March 16 through 21st and leaving on the 22nd. We would love to meet other Fodorites. I met Dave in Paris and Indytravel last time we were there and it was fun.

I'm happy to meet up (I'll be in Paris most of the time through June) with pjsparlor and others for a drink--gets me away from the keyboard. Is the 22nd of February happening?

Artlvr, I particularly enjoyed your etiquette post; please contact me if you like.

Not to flog another website here, but I've been in and out of Paris a lot over the last few years and have set up a website of information on places I think are great in order not to have to keep giving lists to friends; like Fodor's only much more focused with respect to taste (mine, mostly). Part of it allows people to post their availability to meet others (private-list.com click on travel contacts; there aren't very many, though).

Lamer:
Could you give a bit more direction? I'm having trouble locating it in my Paris par arrondissement book.
Thanks,
Nancy

Nancy: Do you know about the Pages Jaunes (Yellow Pages) at http://photos.pagesjaunes.fr/ ? Enter the address and it not only gives you a map, but a picture of the front of the building. Very nice.

Travelbunny and Sharon G, the boyfriend and I will be in Paris the 16th and leave the 20th. I would like to be initiated into the FTG secret society. We're staying in the 15th, if that matters at all.

SharonG, pdx, travelbunny, Toupary: It seems a shame to let this sub-thread fizzle out. At the risk of overdoing it as a parvenue to this forum, is anyone free for an apéritif tomorrow (Monday) evening?

lamer,

you might want to start a new thread which mentions the date, esp. since it's tomorrow...

about the 22nd, are minors (11 y.o.) allowed in willi's? we arrive that morning, but will try to make it.

Willi's is a cafe too, so I don't know the laws in France, but I would think an 11 year old could go to a cafe. The bar area is just one long bar, so I think a table would be good anyway. PJ

It looks like Monday's apéritif was an idea whose time has not come; I'm no longer free myself now.

We haven't any set itinerary for our 3 1/2 days in Paris, but I am interested in the Ste Eustache organ recital Sunday March 18th. It's approx. 5:30pm. How does 6:30 - 7pm sound at someplace close by? Is that bad timing due to dinner? I don't have a clue where Ste E. is. I'm just offering this up as an opening bid, so feel free to suggest something else.
