Anyone how much beer costs at the Oktoberfest grounds?

I was talking to a couple yesterday and they told me a large mug of beer costs 10 Euro in one of the tents at Oktoberfest. Is that true?

That's probably close - but keep in mind that the glass holds a liter of beer.

If you are concerned about the price of the beer you should stay home.

Liter mugs on a normal day in a normal beer garden were going for 5-6 euro when we were in Munich last summer. So 10 euro for a liter at Oktoberfest doesn't seem too outrageous.

If you go to www.oktoberfest.de you should be able to find out exactly, however I believe its around 7'60 Euros. A fabulous deal for a liter of amazing beer.

Mikemo: What was so awful? I've been to Oktoberfest several times and have had an absolute blast each time. So much so that I'm going back this year!!
