Anyone familiar with Tatra Travel?

They offer reasonable prices for hotel + air for Prague and Budapest. I checked and they seem to be in good standing with the BBB. However, I have tried to call 5 times and speak with the agent I originally spoke with and she is always with another customer. Just wondered if this was a sign that customer service might not be high on their list.

agree with above. I'm interested in their vienna, split and Dubrovnik package. Any feedback on them?

I have used them for years both personally and when I had a travel agency. Currently there are 5 of us booked with them again for Budapest this August.
They have always been very good but always slow responding.
I have visited their office in NYC several times and I understand why.....
hectic is an understatement.
The trips were always up to expectations.

Hi cd, well you got a good recommendation from CBHugs so that is good.

My thinking was when I read just your post is that if one doesn't get suitable customer service before any money is paid they are not going to get any after the money is paid. But perhaps in this case that is not true. Best regards.

My thoughts also LoveItaly.
Thanks CBHugs, the TA returned my call 2 weeks after my inital call and I told her I was no longer interested. Maybe I'll rethink that.

Check this site for my report when we return after (U S)Labor Day. Not sure when you were all planning to go, but
at least I will tell you if they again lived up to their past performances. We are staying at the K+K Opera. I preferered the Astoria, which I always enjoyed, but it was recently renovated and now is enjoying a rush - so there was no room in the inn.

I believe Frommers has recommended them for years to Central Europe-for price and service.
