Anyone familiar with Eastleigh cab company? Willit?
I'm doing research for a relative of mine. They are a group of 7 who will be arriving at the Southampton cruise terminal and will need a van transfer to Heathrow airport.
I did a search here and found this thread:
http://www.fodors.com/community/euro...outhampton.cfm
in which willit recommended the Eastleigh cab company, http://www.eastleighcabco.com/
I gave my relative its website, along with a few other ones that were recommended by Fodorites in other threads. My relative emailed them all, and out of the list, Eastleigh seems to have the best rate as well as the fastest response. She wants to go ahead and book, but she was unable to find any online reviews of the company, so she emailed me and ask if I "know" anyone who has used their services before.
I'd appreciate any input from anyone!

No personal experience but they look credible from their website and their listing on yell.com. Never heard of people doing on-line reviews of taxi companies round here (I live 30 miles away from Eastleigh) - but the absence of any reviews wouldn't put me off making a booking. Just to get the UK terminology right, what you want is a large "people-carrier" or small "minibus", not a "van" (which is a 2 or 3-seater commercial vehicle that traders use for moving goods around).
