Anyone familiar with Au pre de l'arbre outside Sarlat?

Hi all
Has anyone stayed at or seen a place called Au pre de l'arbre outside Sarlat? It's a property with 8 "chalets" and a huge pool. Looks to be about a kilometre out of town.

Well, they say it's a kilometre out of town, but I think it's a bit of a walk - if that's what you were looking for. Don't know it, as it's tucked into the woods, but if you check Google Maps for rue Lino Ventura, you will get a better idea of the location.

Just seems to me strange to have wooden chalets around Sarlat, where we have lovely stone buildings everywhere.

I've never seen such a strange conglomeration of wooden buildings anywhere in the Périgord except for a horrid lotissement outside Montignac. Which isn't to say it's not luxurious and comfortable - it seems to have some luxury label by the préfecture - just that it's totally out of character with the surroundings. It would be like going to the Amalfi coast and staying in a yurt.

Thank you Carlux and St Cirq. It is a very unusual looking place! I guess the appeal would be plenty of run-around space for kids plus a big pool, but as you say why stay somewhere so atypical of the area.
I have now looked at so many places and am having trouble deciding on the "perfect: one. I've used your previous recommendations to narrow down areas and villages.
One more question - would you rather be outside Daglan, outside St Cyprien or outside Beynac?
