Hello,<BR><BR>I want to go to Spain for about 10 days APPROXIMATELY. <BR><BR>I will be going for my HONEYMOON in the last week of FEBRUARY, 2003<BR><BR>I want to go to parts of Spain which have the WARMEST Climate, since my fiancee does not like near freezing temperatures. <BR><BR>Can anyone help us with an itenary?. We are looking to relax, see some nice local sights, shopping, music, food. <BR><BR>Please help me<BR><BR>Thanks<BR>

spain is COLD in February.

Well the current 5-day forecast for the following cities in Spain are:<BR>Madrid - 15 to 46<BR>Seville - 32 to 57<BR>Barcelona - 36 to 56<BR><BR>It'll be colder in February, so if you are looking for a warm weather place I would stay away from Spain. Maybe you should look into southern Italy, the Amalfi Coast (specially Capri) is a great place for a honeymoon.

If you are just trying to avoid freezing, Spain will work, although you may get the odd snowflake in Madrid. Barcelona is a great city regardless of the weather, but it will only be in the 40s and 50s. This may not be the ideal weather for a honeymoon....<BR><BR>Capri and the Amalfi coast will not be much warmer, plus many hotels and restaurants are closed from Jan through March. I would not recommend this for a February honeymoon, save this fantastic part of Italy for warmer weather.<BR><BR>You really need to go to the north African coast of the Med to get warm weather at this time of year. Morrocco, Tunisia, etc.

Southern Spain, the warmest. Above freezing weather (above 32 deg F), not a guarantee, but certainly possible. How warm are you talking about? To be honest for a honeymoon, with a future hubby who already mentioned not liking cold temperatures, I would consider a cruise in the Caribbean.

Warmest part of Spain at that time of year would probably be the Canary Islands (off the coast of W Africa). Less sightseeing and historical sights than the mainland (Barcelona, Madrid etc) but the weather will generally be much better.

Your honeymoon is less than 2 months away and it still isn't finalized?

Your best bet is the Costa Del Sol, Malaga, Marbella, Estepona etc. We were ther for the last week of January, it was 70 degrees with deep blue skies every day. Madrid is at a high altitude and typically colder. The Canary Islands would also be about 70 at this time with any luck.

I think the advice is a bit late since the wedding is this week!!
