Not a bar or restaurant, but I enjoyed Trakai Castle:

been to vilnius 3 times and going again in july - wife has family there and in rural lith.

great walking city. discovered an old cemetery (early 19th century) last visit. cross the small river in the east side of old town and then walk about 1/2 mile east. ask along the way and you might find some one who speaks english. several markets and art galleries in this area. was just being developed a year and a half ago. worth wander 3-4 hours in the area. just as you cross the small river, there is an artist colony on the left. spoke to some people and was told that is where the uprising began about 1990.

also an interesting market just southeast of old town. the outside black market is interesting to watch.

DON'T STAY IN A HOTEL. the apartments are excellent and much cheaper - $80 or less for one bedroom, kitchen and internet/computer in the heart of old town.
