Anyone been to the Naples Archeological Museum lately?
The last two times I was there (2004, early 2005), the section devoted to frescoes from Pompeii was closed. There were a few rooms with frescoes from the Temple of Isis and a few other miscellaneous frescoes mixed in with the mosaics, but that was it. Does anyone know if this section of the museum has been re-opened yet? Thanks.

I was there in September 2005 and the whole place was open.

We are also headed to the museum soon - how much time would you recommend allowing to see it?

I like to dawdle in museums and I saw everything I wanted to see in 2 hours. The museum has a small but good bookstore with many interesting books and DVDs you can buy about Pompeii. They had lots in English.
